Dr. Christine Booker works as a health promotion specialist, spiritual wellness advocate, and public health professional. She enjoys helping people find their balance and lead meaningful lives. She is trained to focus on health from a holistic perspective by exploring the dimensions of SPICEZ – spiritual, physical, intellectual, career, emotional and zen.

Dr. Booker started off working in public health, developing and implementing initiatives and programs that aimed to improve and encourage healthy lifestyle activities in the health practices of community members. Over the years, Dr. Booker realized that health and wellness were not just the absence of physical illness. This revelation led Dr. Booker to the incorporation of spirituality, mindfulness, and meditation practices. Currently, Dr. Booker is a holistic lifestyle mentor, and showing people how to harmonize the different aspects of SPICEZ.

Dr. Booker merges spiritual mental practices and emotional wellness to help people be present in the moment and live life with purpose and meaning. Dr. Booker has dedicated her time and passion to guiding people on their own journeys of self-discovery and self-care and to constructing and incorporating health-sustaining activities and routines, mindful practices, and reflection into their lives.

 

Dr. Booker has been a professor and public health professional for more than 2 decades. She has a great understanding of the intersection of community health and the health of the individual. For Dr. Booker, wellness is supposed to be simple and accessible. This is to inspire others to take on an integrated and holistic approach to wellness and lifestyle. Dr. Booker uses mentorship, public speaking, and her writing to share her philosophy that true wellness is holistic, achievable, and deeply personal.
